Doom 3 trailer

I just saw the Doom 3 trailer from http://www.gamershell.com/download_4500.shtml .

Looks pretty cool. Hmmm... better start thinking about some new hardware.

Any thoughts or comments regarding Doom 3 and linux?
I'm assuming, at this point, that you'll need windows for it.
Anything on the horizon that will make Doom 3 a happy camper on linux?

Since ID have already given us RTCW and Quake 3 Arena for Linux, I am guessing that there will also be a Linux version for Doom 3... I hope so anyway!
