That's absolutely amazing! Plasma screens in the 1950's? Did he have a tardis or something?

I once saw a PLATO terminal in a science museum. It had bit-mapped graphics and looked much nicer than the Commodore PETs that the museum also had. PLATO might have been successful a few years later when the hardware costs came down.
