Domain Names
I currently have very little money and I'm looking for a site that will register a domain name for free, it doesn't need to provide any space - just forward traffic to my site. I know there used to be a small island country that did this but for the life of me I can't remember it.
Do any of you know of any places like this?
Thanks.
ps I posted this here because it seemed like the most relevant forum.

Do you want to do anything like php, mysql, cgi? Or is this just going to be a very basic site?

I believe no-ip.com will do that for you, absolutely free (for the forwarding). There is a site out there, and has been mentioned here before, but I cannot for the life of me remember it, that will register a domain for you for free as well (some sort of strings attached, but free). Try searching for it on the site, look around a bit, I do believe it should come up with a search for DNS, but the list will be long. With any luck, someone who really knows will reply
Cool

The one I was after is dot.tk - they do free forwarding without the domain technically belonging to me. That'll do for the time being.
Thanks all.
Cheers

Carefull, they deleted my dot.tk account because I didn't get enough hits, so in other words, make sure your site is a success.

I use dyndns for myself and my friends. They delete your account if you don't update between 30 days which they also have clients for updating if you're using dynamic ips.

eu.org is good, but you wait 6 months for a domain (no joke, really).
