Talking Does Tux suffer from "metabolic syndrome"?

Hi,

Just curious, how many of you think (or do not think) that Tux http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tux suffer from metabolic syndrome. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metabolic_syndrome
Usually, penguins does not have that much central obesity. And, Tux is not American, so not much junk food...

I don't think so. Tux loves fish, that is why his belly is always full of fish and he looks so satisfied. This is easily mistaken for central obesity. Furthermore, penguins are well adapted to a fish diet. Therefore, it is (fortunately) very unlikely that Tux will ever develop a disease like metabolic syndrome from eating too much fish. On the other hand, consuming vast quantities of fish does promote extreme halitosis. So I think you would not want Tux to breath in your general direction, or sit next to you on the bus.

What does this have to do with Linux on a technical level? Moving to General where it's more suitable.

I would assume that since the creator of the Linux kernel is Finnish and he chose the mascot, therefore Tux is Finnish.

I somewhat think penguins lay eggs...

Tux is a member of www.gnu.org where goat (or something) represents.
One of Tux's offsprings, gentoo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gentoo_penguin is supposed to be a penguin, but lives with cow also.

So far, everybody thinks that Tux is healthy.
