What is "generally considered" is not necessarily true and is often completely wrong. As in this case. Takeaway and fast food are not synonymous with junk food. Takeaway is simply food that can be bought or delivered from the place it is prepared. How does that make it junk? Fast food is food that is quickly prepared. It can be garbage like McDonald's or very good. (Fast, good-tasting and nutritious food is the norm where I currenty live, both in restaurants and from street vendors.) The people you know are obviusly not very knowledgeabe about nutrition.

While I'm not going to argue the point with you or, what is or is not junk food, if your saying that most people would not consider pizza, burgers, etc as being junk food, like most people I know (and I know a LOT of people), I could not agree with you.
If you would like to believe different, that's your problem.

If I cared about what is on Wikipaedia, which I certainy do not, their definition is at variance with your useage, since it does not describe your "junk food" of choice, pizza. There is also nothing inherently bad about hamburgers. The quality of meat and how it is prepared determine how healthy or unhealthy they are.

That was where I got the 'definition' from and the one I'm using for the purposes of this thread. I could not careless what you think about Wikipedia, or whether or not, you agree with their definition. Once again, your problem.
I never said pizza was my "junk food of choice", I said it's ONE "junk food" I eat, so get your facts right.
More to the point, if you don't agree with Wikipedia's 'definition' of junk food, why are you replying to this thread for??? ...are you looking for an argument??
Why not just ignore this thread, if you don't agree with the definition???
BTW, I think you need to turn on your spell checker, I've counted at least 4 (if not 5) spelling errors.
