Deleted Linux Partition in Windows.....(read on please)

I accept the flogging for this one.....

I was working in Windows XP SP2 and deleted my entire Linux partition to make room for some files.

I didn't realize that this was my primary partition until I restarted my machine and I can no longer get to a menu to choose my OS.

Currently I'm getting the screen:

[Begin]
GRUB Loading stage1.5

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 17
[END] -- not part of the screen, just adding for clarity

I've read a few other posts regarding this matter, but they haven't addressed my need of re-establishing a menu option to choose my different OSes. I need to access the Windows XP SP2 OS.

Thanks to anyone and everyone that can help

Either use a 'Live' cd to restore your winblows mbr or use the winblows cd to do it.

If XP is the only OS on the system now, you don't need Grub at all. Boot from a vanilla XP CD and run fixmbr to wipe and reinstall the old MBR. If you don't have access to a disk, go to www.bootdisks.com and grab one from there.
