Dang VX mobo Crap
Anyone here familure with old VXchipset boards ... I have one that will not see past 32 meg of memory. I have matching memory in all the banks and still no luck ... 32 meg. there are 2 banks with require memory in each bank. I have 4 32 meg sticks which I am trying to put in there..

ok this is crazy ... opened the box ... re-seated the simms ... now I got 64 meg ... maybe if I keep going I can get to 96 and maybe by midnite .. i can get all 128 ...

dont worry, it sometimes takes a few tries to get the bugs ironed out. the old ram takes a bit to seat properly (all ram does actually) it'l be good to have a bit more ram, the more the merrier i say.

so I see ... and I was just about to through the thing out the window. Going from 32 meg to 64 meg sure made a big difference in regards to speed and performance ... cannot wait to get all 128 going LOL
