Cross platform server software

I am making a webhosting control panel for small webhosts, and for the first release, I need software that will work on Windows and Linux.

-For mail I am going to use xmail
-For FTP I was thinking about pureFTPD, but I am not sure how well it works with Windows--anyone?
-I have no idea what I am going to use for DNS.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
