Question Computer freezes at Boot menu

Hello,

I changed my CMOS battery because the BIOS wasn't saving the changes i made.
But after i changed it, now it freezes in the boot menu..

I worked perfectly fine before i changed it..

Greetings,

Did you follow precautions for preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD)?

You may have damaged your USB interface during installation of the CMOS battery.

I didn't work that way because I don't have the tools and I hoped it would be okay for one time. Other times it worked fine, but this time I had bad luck.

Are you sure that it really broke? Many BIOS have the option to disable USB keyboards and this may be set to on after you reset the BIOS with changing the battery.
