Question Change installation drive for LibreOffice in VM

I have a problem installing LibreOffice in Windows XP running in a VM with Linux Mint as host. I downloaded the correct version of LibreOffice for Windows, but when I start the install it doesn't give me a choice where I want to install it. Within the VM I have a C: drive and a X: drive. Windows XP is naturally on the C: drive and I want the Office suite on the X: drive along with all my other peripheral programs.

Question; Is there a way to install LibreOffice on my X: drive?

I don't know anything about Windows but wouldn't you be more likely to get an answer on a Windows forum than a Linux forum? Does running Windows in a VM mean that it doesn't run like Windows? If it does run like Windows then a Windows forum would be the logical place to ask, no?

Thanks, Your probably right, a Windows forum may have the answer.
However, I know that a lot of folks who run linux have Windows running in a VM for the times that we need to access a program that only Windows can play. I just thought there may be someone on this forum that did just that and could help solve my dilemma. Never mind, I'll look elsewhere.

Thanks again,

gael

I would rather eat my own liver than go anywhere near Windows. Every experience I've ever had with it was extremely unpleasant. YMMV.
