Cd-rw And Dvd-rom Disappeared From The Devices

i dont modified my system, but the drives are disappeared.
Why?

Umm, this is a Linux forum, not Windows, but maybe you could just run the "detect new hardware" wizard. -- J.W.

However... this is the general forum, so Windows questions are (at least) acceptable here, even if they are unlikely to get answered that quickly.
Rise, drivers for which devices? If you goto the 'hardware list' bit (right click on My Computer, goto Properties, then to Hardware List... I think) it should list all the hardware that Windows can find. From there find any that have 'bangs' next to them (symbols that represent hardware that isn't working) and go to 're-install drivers'. It may prompt you for your Windows CD, your hardware's driver CD, etc. It may not.
