c complier


how do i compile c language on linux. am using mandrake 9.2

Standard MDK install (if you don't choose 'Development') has no compiler installed. To get gcc use
urpmi gcc

It should be a criminal offense for a GNU/Linux distribution not to install at least a C compiler (and, one would hope, a C++ compiler and a Perl interpreter, as well) with the standard installation.
