C / C++ for iphone mobile?

Hi,

I would like to know if there are some guys that have compiled anything on the iphone 4 or 5?

It is visibly not make by default to compile on it...

However it seems that there are some attemps of code:
http://code.google.com/p/iphone-gcc-full/

With C/C++, if it would work, it would offer large range of apps. Imagine Cygwin, is that possible, opensource, permitted,...?

Kind regards
Pat
