Bizarre spam in request for help with connect 4 game code

I received this odd Spam from ' Samyukta Singh ', subject
Quote:
Need help debugging - shows error message "A trap was executed with an illegal trap vector"
, no body, just an attachment of what appears to be real assembly language code in a file titled connect4_start3.asm .

I used to write in assembly, still do occasionally, but don't know this person or this game. There was no bogus attachment or even a URI, so I don't know how it could be a virus or a trojan. The code looks harmless.

Has anyone else seen this? Does it make any kind of sense?

freshclam finds no infection.

Is 'Connect 4' really written in assembly language? It's not valid for my processor.

What do you mean "is really written in"? It could be written in any language.

Anyway, a text file with assembler source is harmless unless you actually assemble and run it. At worst this is some weird phishing attempt.
