BBedit lite style editor

Hey all I'm curious if there is an HTML/programming editor similar to BBedit on the MAC for linux, and also if anyone knows of one for windows. I really loved it when I was running my old Mac (now my linux server). I have been trying to find one that I like as much for my dual boot system, on for XP one for Linux. Anyone have any ideas?
