BBC Open University

Hello, I have been a mature computer science student for the past few years and have reached a certificate award but am finding local colleges at best only challenge short term memory ( rote learning ) and at worst tyranical. Wont bore you with the details.

For this reason I am considering the UK based Open University. I would be grateful if there are any current student of computing or information technology who can provide me with some of their experiences.

I am told that unlike normal college the Open University has well established standard of delivery and course material. My only concerns are the assesment support and marking scheme.

The modules of interest are:

T224
T224
M263
M257 and the like
