BASH software 4 windows

Hi,

I am after BASH software for windows. I have used cygwin but was wondering if there is any alternative software that people prefer/use.

you can start with no double postings shift21

and last time i checked bash wasn't a programing language .. but i can be wrong

and also .. i was under the impression that cygwin was a windows port of gcc .. but i might be wrong

and why would you want to use gnu tools on windows? .... i might as well buy a new PC just to emulate as a mac computer
