AV software for Xandros 3.0.2

I have Xandros loaded on one of my desktops and one of my laptops, I know there is some AV software advertised for the deluxe edition, however I have the OCE version. Is there any freeware AV software or Spyware for this distro, do I need any. I'm new to linux so this is the reason for the question. Thank you.

Linux is pretty much spyware free, to my knowlede there is none at all. if however you would fell safer with an anti-vir then the firewall that comes with your distro, i think Xandros had one, should be pretty good and stopping stuff, and the firewall in your router/switch if u using one. but google anti virus linux to find solutions or try http://www.free-av.com/antivirus/allinonen.html. i used the windows version of that and its good and free.
