Audio Codec Issue?

Hey guys, I've got this annoying problem with this video file I have. I can see the video playing, but not hear the audio. It came from a Sony Hi8 Video camera, and it was recorded through composite video input "with" sound through ATi's AIW capture software and stuff. And the weird thing is that I actually have all that stuff installed again and I still dont hear the audio.

Any ideas what audio codec the video file might use? I know its MPEG1 video. Anyhelp would be great.
