attn: putty users. font question


i been using putty for a couple of days now. there's a font called courier. not courier new, just courier, that i would like to use for xterm.
being that it is in windows can .ttf be displayed in xterm? if so, ive searched for this font in windows but couldnt come up with anything else but "courier new". wth? has anyone found this font on their windows OS?

it's on my XP system... try looking here for a place to D/L it. i just googled for "courier font windows" and got hundreds of returns. I'm sure you can get it from Micro$oft also. and yes, it works in puTTY.

this is the font that im looking for. all the couriers i HAVE googled didnt turn out to be this specific one.

this font..i want to transfer to linux and use it in terminal. i know it works with putty.

I am using RH with kde
K -> Control Center -> +Desktop -> Appearance = Fonts = Courier
