SOLVED ATI Radeon Xpress 200M driver not available for Windows 7 64 bit

It appears that there is no driver available for ATI Radeon Xpress 200M under Windows 7 64 bit.

AMD drivers

But it is available under:
Windows Vista 64-bit > Integrated/Motherboard > Radeon Express 200M

However this does not work (as expected). Now if the driver isn't present for Windows 7, does it mean that AMD is no longer providing support for my card, or that it will come at a future date?

I sure hope it does. I installed this popular program: ATIMobilityModder and got the cute blue screen which wouldn't leave even though I attempted recovery. I just re-installed the OS. Any idea how long I'll have to wait?

Would you recommend the download at this link? http://driverscollection.com/?H=Rade...s%207%2064-bit

I don't know if I should install that because I didn't see my driver mentioned in the link in the first post. But this site claims it's ATI's driver.

you could try it, just make sure you scan it with an antivirus as windows is a malware magnet.
Win7 and WinVis are lacking on the driver side.

Even that doesn't work. So I basically have to wait till ATI puts the drivers on their site?

Problem solved. I ran Windows update and it found the driver and installed it. It installed the drivers for everything else. Amazing.
