Any 1 know how 2 make free cell phone calls *from* Canada 2 their google voice # ?

AFAIK, google voice is available only in USA. So that tells us that it is not possible to do that. But check with voice.google.com to know if it has been extended to other countries.

Why all the numericals in the thread title?

Also I don't know if what you're asking is even possible, but if you're just looking for free international calling, skype is a good bet, also it has apps for iOS and android, so you could conceivably call free phone to computer that way.

I used numericals to make my question fit the space alotted.

What I am trying to do is to call GV from Canada, for free, from my smart phone and then use GV to initiate my phone calls, again for free.

If I use skype on my smartphone to connect to GV, and GV connects my calls, will I be on a VOIP call or a land line call?
