Absolutely, Goodfellas is just a classic.
Once Upon A Time in America is a great one as well, definitely recommend.

The 2017 adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express starring Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot.

It takes some liberties with, to borrow a term from Sherlockians, the canonical version, but it is extremely well done.

Thumbs up

Onward got some harsh reviews on MPR(https://www.mpr.org). Maybe it was the ending?

The only time reviews kind of sway me is when I look at vast amounts-on one thing... more likely hardware.

I seem to "becoming" a cynical punk these days, 98% of all media suck$!
Thank fun for aquaponics and skate parks with pools!

Forget movies, what TV shows.

Especially now with the lockdown, you can just binge watch entire seasons one after the other.

Try The Wire, one of the best TV shows ever made.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons or so, but then the entertainment value dropped dramatically, for me at least. Never finished it.
Unfortunately this drop in quality is all too common.
I find it's a very important factor in TV shows: consistency.

OTOH, that shouldn't keep one from enjoying a well made first season - just need to be able to jump ship when it starts getting boring.

Cliffhangers are another thing that annoy the c**p out of me. The less they need to use them the better the show usually is.

Here's one TV show I still enjoy after 10 seasons: Criminal Minds.

Picard Star Trek is not too shabby.

Nothing like having a planet full of AI's and most everyone trying to obliterate them.

Pretty uplifting in fact. Since AI's woulda obliterated them instead.

The wife likes to watch Criminal Minds. She works her way through the series every so often. We have all of it on our server except the newest s15 I think. We've also been working through Monk. For movies we both thoroughly enjoy Last Vegas. We currently are just above 1100 movies on the server and her favorites are usually Disney of some kind. The animated Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty & The Beast. She does not like the new live action versions to much though. I don't sit for a movie very often as I can't sit still very long but I like the Men In Black movies, and have always been a Star Trek fanatic.

"A Boy and His Dog" is apparently in the public domain.
