One of my favorites and don't know if it has been mentioned already is Body Heat with Kathleen Turner.

Dunno why none mentioned realistic heroic movies like Ladder 49 in this theme. It is a must to see.

I totally forgot about this movie. I remember how sad I felt after the credits rolled.

Il Demonio, The Demon, is a 1967 French film starring Daliah Lavi as Purificazione. Puri is a wild woman as beautiful as she is crazy and monkey-mad in love with someone intent on marrying a woman who looks like what God used to make with what He had left over after sculpting Puri.

Puri is a Sorceress who communes with the dead, claims to have spoken to a Demon, puts a curse on her true love during the wedding ceremony and that night throws a dead rabbit at the honeymooners house and curses their firstborn child stillborn.

It's a tragic tail...

She's shunned by the townsfolk, taken advantage of repeatedly and seen as possessed. They perform an exorcism in the Church where Puri demonstrates her skill as the originator of the Spider Walk made famous in The Exorcist.

Waiting on the second season of The Boys now!

The Orville looks good. I'm out of the loop when it comes to media, only find stuff that I go searching for. Saw Ted Danson in there, made me think of Bored to Death - Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bored_to_Death

The Orville annoys me because I thought it would be comedy like Galaxy Quest but instead it uses the preachy kind of sitcom formula like All in The Family and other shows of that era did. It should either be a "serious" show as the ST:TOS tried to be with comedic moments or a pure comedy. Despite that I watch it because there is not enough Sci-Fi on TV and it does have its moments.

One of the reasons I loved Married With Children when it came out was it didn't have any pretenses to redeeming moral lessons. It was just pure comedy.

Funny part is I don't watch Orville for the sci fi stuff. Though. I am a sci fi nut by choice.

I tripped out on the AI < sentiant robot planet crew member > love episode with DOC < colored lady > . Especially when the AI agreed to this.

Doc: : "Are you saying you are better with me than without me?"

AI: "Yes. My programs function better when you are around."

Closest thing I saw to AI love.

Sci fi part was AI stepping into simulator and cloaking him self with a human body. I thought this very novel. The reason was a date scheduled for DOC and AI life form. End result. Date, affection, sleep over with sex.

Then AI says he is done gathering data. Hurts Docs Feelers. So AI is ignored. Which seems to hurt his <AI> feelers. Pretty cool. I thought.

I can see how these things may irk others though. Kinda like Colors and Ice Cream Flavors.

Another series I binge watch is The Santa Clarita Diet. I like to smile alot also.
Something I do alot when watching the Orville also.

I considered the boys pretty sick stuff .

Injecting babys in nurseries with a formula to turn them into super heroes. Corporate ran this.
With Govt. approval in the long run. Set in thr USA. It covers Terrorist countries cloning the super power formula. Superman < aka Homeland man or what ever, shows how much I pay attention>
is a murderous psycho from hell with a glowing friendly public personality.

Flying through planes to kill all passengers. Mainly superman is narcissist in his mind set.

Lots of twists and turns in Bad Boys. Hence why I said trippy.

The end of season one The Boys has a good twist.

PostScript: Bored to Death is a great comedy.
