Even at such a young age Natalie Portman was a talented actress.
Yeah, I think this movie is probably the best acting she has ever done, IMO. And of course Gary Oldman and Jean Reno were very good too. Truly an epic film.
40 minute independent film inspired by The Lord of the Rings, released for free on the net about 1 hour ago. It's quite good, especially with a budget of £3000.

That's all for now, the rest of the movies I've watched kinda suck, especially ones by Marvel such as Iron Man and The Hulk. The acting is horrible, the scripts are horrible, the only thing that is done reasonably well is the graphics. Don't even mention the Spiderman series, it makes me sick.
No way!! You want a horrible 'hacker-based' movie, see Hackers, 1995. Sneakers is my all time favorite though.
You bet it was bad, but at least it had Angelina Jolie in it to liven it up a bit Otherwise it would have been absolute crap ... so instead it is almost absolute crap ... you can fast forward through most of it.

When I say "they knew nothing" in Wargames, I wasn't referring just to the hacking part of it. When that movie came out, it happens that I made my living playing "global thermonuclear war" for the Air Force. I was part of the team that wrote and supported the models that we actually used for virtual war-fighting, and I was heavily involved with that component of the models that considered the US attack on the Soviet Union.
When I say "they knew nothing about their subject" what I mean is "they REALLY knew absolutely nothing about their subject and made a lot of very unintelligent guesses".
I know it's already been visited in this thread, but I just picked up and watched The Dark Knight again -- this is the second time I have seen it. The film itself was a lot less impressive at home than it was in the theater, of course. And knowing the plot twists before they happened seriously weakened the story's punch. But Ledger's performance was just as colorful as I had remembered it. The guy made the movie genuinely fun to watch.
