Thank you, frankbell, for the wikipedia links, As you stated both are very good and I found them balanced and thorough, though I strongly suspect another chapter will need to be written..

I agree that new chapters will be compiled. Depravity is one constant of human existence. (I didn't used to be so cynical, but then I started paying attention.)

Wikipedia is a heck of a fine piece of work, for all that it is subject to abuse. I have found it generally reliable for subjects without political overtones. Politically significant entries are subject to editing by persons whose first allegiance is not necessarily truth . . . .

In the good old days, "only The Media" had access to ... printing presses and radio transmitters.

Guess "The Media" hasn't quite figured that out yet. (Maybe they're still using Windows ...)
