ALiX - Business Software Environment

Im creating, from the ground up a Business Software Environment based on Apache/PHP/MySQL/XML.

The creation of this software and reason was to meet the needs of the company I currently work for; www.vector-industries.com.

This software is specialized for small business operations. Everything from Inventory, Order Placement, etc. is included. It /is/ the main peice of software the company will be using. External programs such as AbiWord and Gaim are used but for the most part, the entire business will be ran on this software.

It's a great accomplishment that is near from finished and Im posting here today to ask if any of you are interested in sharing ideas to better the software or jump in and help write some code.

The software was writtne for Vector industries, Inc. but I was given the "OK" to release the software, ALiX, under the GNU General Public License. (and other licenses that apache/php are already under.) but when it comes to price, it's free and the technologies used were choosen because they offer the most freedom possible while still being extremely advanced. So really, we're using the _best_ tools available under freedom-respecting licenses.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Im familiar with software but not business, this has definetly been a learning expirience
