ADSL Providers

This maybe of the beaten track but as I am returning back from Taiwan after living there for 4 years I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good ADSL provider, I have been using it in Taiwan for nearly 3 years and have enjoyed it and I am very use to the speeds but looking at the broadband news recently I am abit confused with who is providing what, I know that Blackpool where I will reside has ADSL but what it is like I don't know.

So could anyone give advise or experience on ADSL in England.

I'm using BTOpenworld and their service seems to suit me pretty well. though they only use dynamic IP through PPPoA and seem to cycle their servers every 6 or 7 days knocking me offline. aside from that the service is OK.

I'm in scotland though, some guys in south east england have had trouble with them, but I don't know too much about that - and I think that its sorted out now anyway.

Let us know what other providers you find and how they compare to BT!!
