I, of course, am a Linux user. I have been using Linux since 1995, and Linux EXCLUSIVELY since 2005. And I will NEVER use a Microsoft product, nor an Apple product.
Then I had a stroke in 2011.
My values are still intact, and I will never use a Microsoft/Apple product. I am a Debian user, and I use the Testing branch. But it is sometimes difficult for me to use Linux/Debian effectively since I had always imagined, prior to my stroke, I would actually remember everything. And I now actually NEED this forum because my short-term/working memory is BROKEN.
And for the help I have gotten from this wonderful forum, I am deeply thankful that you exist.
Thank you all, you are wonderful people, and I love you people, in a non-creepy masculine sort of way.
I've been around LQ.org for 14 years, even though my post count doesn't show it. I visit here on a regular basis. I find it interesting, educational, informative, etc. I commend Jeremy, all the Mods, and the many, many contributors here who really know their shit!
All these things make this place one of the absolute best for experienced, not-so-experienced, and absolute newbies to come and interact and resolve issues, learn something, help others. I hope LQ.org stays around for a long, long time.
