I don’t usually follow this. I guess I’m a not a good Canadian.

But you provoked me to start this year, and I have time as I’ve got some ribs on the smoker in the backyard on this long weekend. Smoking those ribs could take hours. At least I hope so - I’ll have to be outside all afternoon on a pleasant, sunny afternoon in my part of southern Ontario.

Finland lost to Kazakhstan in a shootout? My condolences.

Mind you, as I’m writing this, Canada is down vs the US 0-3, so not a great showing.

I have to go check how Canada did vs Latvia as you posted above, and our standings.

Missed Canada vs Germany. Was outside enjoying the 3rd day of excellent long-weekend weather.

Not looking good for Canada, but will keep cheering. I hope Team Canada doesn't let you down, either, so you don't lose your 25€ bet!

yup, today is finland - norway match day, i suspect that we win easily, they are our loved neighbors but there is no mercy rule in hockey :P

i hope that canada gets in semifinals and face finland in the final, that way it doesn't matter so much if we lose, i still make a few bucks.

yeah man :)

i am eagerly waiting for canada to make it to quarters. lets hope that it will go ok for them.
