I hope that was either sarcasm I couldn't distinguish, a bad joke I didn't understand or a completely misleading sentence. I'm sure you have a good argumentation for that, I just don't get what it could be, if it's sane.

Some love machine, indeed.

I stand by MegaManX. Also, the movie "Idiocracy" comes to mind.

No no... it was no sarcasm or joke or anything. I think that guy is an idiot. What is he trying to show the World? That even though he has just one leg he can make babies? He has no money to feed his children(apparently. The article is vague by the way), they most likely will have no future and it contributes to the world's poverty and overpopulation. Back in my days at University, we did a documentary about the homeless and/or very poor people who live a life collecting and selling softdrink cans out of the trash. It turned out that many of them had at least 3 children. One in particular, had 9 and wanted to have at least 5 more.

Those kind of people, in my honest opinion, are idiots, who could care less about their own future, leave it alone his children. 100 kids then? (I have one son and it hurts me to have so little time with him). I'm sure this "love machine" is also a great father (this part was sarcasm).

I also have some comments about Islam... but we better leave it out from this forum.

I think there's a very special reason why he went off and married 78 women... But this is not the time nor the place to discuss that sort of stuff.

Regardless, I agree with Mega Man X. Yes, you have the right to have kids... But 9+? That's just overkill. I don't think we should enforce 1-child-per-family laws (Other than maybe in China where it's not funny anymore) but people, have some restraints...

Hot Crossed

You know what really steams my buns? People that comment on an article without reading it.

He didn't, he married 15. But he's looking to add to his collection.

Well, I guess 78 qualifies as "9+" - but I'd have said "78", not "9+". You realize that the point of the article is that his guy is trying to father 100 children by the year 2015, right?

Got me there, I agree too. Why a one legged 60 year old man on a UAE military pension thinks he can afford to have 100 children is completely beyond me.

Why? Seems everyone can engage in a bit of America bashing without repercussion. Why is "The Religion of Peace" off limits?

Is America bashing still going on? I guess it won't ever get old, like Chuck Norris .

Anyway, about the US... all I have to say is that I respect(and thank) them for all they have done to the World on the past. However, I can't deny that Bush is a monkey...

I make a decent salary...not top notch, but good enough...

I have one child...ONE. Why? Because I can't seem to afford any more than one right now (being serious). When I finish my degree and our first one goes to school, my wife and I *might* (strong emphasis on that word "might") try to have another one, but that really depends on if we can afford another child while putting our first through private schooling...

I agree completely with MegaManX and crew...it's about QUALITY of life, not "I got my d1ck wet 100 times...I R L337 f4ck!!!!111!"

Bush was a monkey put in control of a space ship headed towards the sun.

Really now, for all the bullshit you give him and do to him he's in a really freaking tough place. IMHO, Ron Paul (Who feels minimalist to me, in terms of what gvt can do) could maybe keep things under control for a year or two before issues like rising nuclear threats, muslim occupation in Lebanon (Which is critical to stop, in the grand scheme of things), and a war in Iraq where we didn't give it the full 100% that it required... Along with dealing with pests like North Korea, China, and even anti-competitive corporations (but that is more the judicial's job)...

And now, things are probably going horribly for him; he has no power. "Terrorists" and real dirt-bags like Hezbollah aren't afraid of him anymore. (And that's the scariest thing immaginable, that the invader does not inspire fear in its enemies) So he's like a dog with no teeth stuck chained out in the sun with cats coming to laugh at him. That doesn't necessarily mean I like him, or heck find him intelligent, but you know democrats wouldn't be able to handle the situation well either.

Hum. Going off topic.

Kids are expensive. Seriously. I have no idea how this guy is going to manage to keep it up without selling his other leg.

What to you is right, may to me be wrong.

This guy's faith and customs may show to him that he is ok to do this. While I, like many of you, don't agree with his "project", we should be willing to give him his life privilege. And based on what I read, it sounds like he's got his finances hooked up, with the govt. of Ahman supporting him.

With that said, he's probably known more gals than most of us here ever will. I'm jealous!

Stupid is stupid. I'll grant that his own cultural mores and upbringing may lead him, incorrectly, to believe that spawning so many sires is a great thing. But requiring the beneficence of a welfare state to attain a Guiness Book of World Records entry? How can that possibly make sense?

Oh, BTW - not all of us had that hard a time getting laid. I gave up on promiscuity because it interfered with my life.

It could be cool if the guinness book actually didn't publish stupid things like that. In one way or another, they incentive people to do stupidities. There is in fact some things being left out the guinness book for that exact same reason. This should be one of them...

<sarcasm>And I am pretty sure 100 women married this guy voluntarily too... since woman in these places are treated with the same rights as the males.</sarcasm>
