1.44" Floppy disk format


Do Windows and Linux format the 1.44 disk in the same way?

yes, they can easily handle the same format, and operate teh same way, given the conventions of each OS. is there anything inparticular you are referring to?

No, Linux and Windows use two completely different filesystem types.

Do'h!! How can that be? How would Windows see an ext2 disk unless you had Ltools or the like?
