[Off-topic] Selective bluetooth modem access

Hello all,

I'd like to ask if it is possible (in Windows mainly) to have a regular internet connection (with a fascist corporate firewall) and a "modem over bluetooth" connection simultaneously and use the bluetooth one for some websites, for example gmail and so on.

Thanks, hope I'm not pushing it with this question, but I had no idea where to ask this on the internets :), and you guys are pretty knowledgeable.

Is it possible to be off topic in the a general forum? Thought for the day I guess :)

I think what you want is possible, but I can't say I've ever tried it. There seem to be a few howtos for Linux, but as usual Windows info seems hard to come by.

What you want to do is specify the route to be used for each of the alternative sites (Gmail, etc). You can do this with the route command.

I can't be more specific than that as it's not my area. But here are a couple of links that almost answer you question, but might at least set you off in the right direction;

Good luck.
