Hello,

Would you maybe know some files (free, libre) that allow to grep for a word definition/translation?

any languages welcome. e.g. EN <=> SP, EN <=> JP, ...

There are a number of dictionaries on the WWW, some better than others. Are you looking for one to download?

qtrans is an offline translator with the ability EN => SP, EN => JP. Plaintext as *.dic.txt.
