Thumbs up Very nice distro

I'm a long-time Debian fanboi, and I also use Mandriva for our home file server. Over the years I've tried most of the larger distros - like most of you other Linux geeks, I enjoy seeing how different distros work.

So along those lines I tried Fuduntu about 3 weeks ago - I downloaded and ran the Live CD on my laptop. It started right up on my older Dell 1501 laptop, including sound and wireless networking. The Gnome interface and menus look very clean and the OS ran quicker/snappier than Debian Wheezy (which was installed on the laptop). After using the Fuduntu Live CD a few more times I installed it on the laptop, replacing Wheezy.

I've been using it regularly since and I really like this distro. And the devs seem to be pretty responsive at the Fuduntu forum. So I'm just posting my experience for anyone thinking of trying Fuduntu.

(Disclaimer: Other than being a user, I am in no way associated with Fuduntu.)

Very interesting. I went to their site, and the slideshow makes it look pretty good. I might have to check out this distro.
