Hi,,,I installed FC3,,,,,My mother board is ASUS A7V400-MX with VIA CHIPSET VIA82TXXX
I am getting sound ,,,,but its not continuous,,,,Its kinda jittery sound,,,,can anyone help me out
Not exactly sure what you mean by jittery, but try changing the Master and PCM adjustments in the Volume Control. As a rule-of-thumb, take both adjustments to the maximum positions and then start backing down until it sounds OK. If the PCM adjustment is a little low, it can give either poor quality sound or nothing at all.
If you mean that playing a CD sounds choppy, try a different sound source as a test, such as playing a Sound File under Preferences > Sound > Sound Events. If the Sound Files play OK, then the problem may be something other than sound.
