repair fedora without reinstalling it
hi all
i have fedora 10 installed on my system. few of the files get corrupted and system is not booting up. i want to repair it, but don't want to reinstall it, as i don't want to loose my data stored in linux partition. thanx to all |

A good start would be to backup files before altering them.
Seems to me you can repair the system, using the repair prompt, (eq repair grub, alter fstab, Xorg...) However, in the future, you can use clonezilla to clone the disk or use a seperate partition for /home and your data so these are not lost when you need to reinstall. |
