Hi
New to the forum.
I installed fedora core 6 when it came out last year and didn`t have any problems doing simple stuff. Now I downloaded fedora core 7 and installed it as a dual boot with Windows XP.
It goes into it usual boot as expected but when it gets down to first boot or some thing it says theres a `problem for video card` and asks me to try to configure the X-server and view a log:
/usr/bin/Xorg :error while loading shared libraries :libgcc_(sso?).l cann
sorry last bit got a bit messed up.
The error message is:
Problem for video card : Intel corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device
file "usr/share/firstboot/xfirstboot.py", line 66, in startgraphicalUI
raise Runtime error, XServer failed to start"
I think it could be a driver problem or Xorg.conf settings problem. No help in any log files. And when I try to install Fedora again it gives the message before I install!
Need help or no Linux for me..
