Thanks for the reply,
I have not yet found a solution for the problem.
Although I have noticed that the former kernel version I used with this distribution ( 2.6.22.1-33 , latest version installed is 2.6.22.1-41)did not produce this problem.
So I expect that some kernel modules did not compile the right way against the new kernel.
Perhaps I have to look further into this. Anyone who can help with this ?
