Migrate from Red Hat ES 4 to Fedora

Hello. Some months ago, before I realised the cost of upgrading Red hat servers, I installed RH ES 4 on my server. Having been stuck with no registration, thus no updates scheme of RH, I'd like to migrate to Fedora, without losing too much of my configuration, and the tools I have installed since.

Is there a Howto, or some tools, or perhaps does Fedora's install recognise the ES 4 underneath and give you the option to keep your setup?

Why????? Have you not heard of CentOS, a freely available clone of Red Hat Enterprise 2/3/4 http://www.centos.org/ what I use;

$ cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 4.2 (Final)
