Kernel update for Installation CD/DVD

I have trouble installing fedora on a system that contains a Promise Fasttrak S150-TX4 SATA Raid controller. Since the current kernel seems to support this device, I'd like to replace the kernel on the installation CD with a selfmade one.

Does anyone of you know how to do this propperly?

Best Regards

Per Abich

You have to create a new boot CD with the drivers installed, boot from that - and use it to run anaconda. Or, I gather, you can put the drivers on a floppy and tell anaconda you have the drivers during the installation - but I've not tried this myself.
