kernel parameter during install xen guest
Hi!
I'm using Fedora 8 x64 re-spin. I'm trying to install a xen guest machine, but I don't have DHCP in my network. When the guest install process starts, it tries to get an address through DHCP. As I don't have a DHCP server, it times out and ask to input by hand an IP address. I typed the config, but it start again to try to fetch an address through DHCP. What kernel parameter can I pass during the install so it don't try to use DHCP? Or to give an static IP address? Thanks in advance. Regards, Augusto |
Solved
Searching at Google with other keyword, "argument" instead of "parameter" showed me the BootPrompt-HOWTO. I used the argument "ip=" and it solved my problem.
