Installing MySQL while Installing Fedora 13

Does Fedora 13 free download from internet (not a distribution copy) is included with MySQL?. If yes how do I install MySQL. During the installation of fedora 13, do I come across any options, where I can select MySQL and other applications (such as CAD)? Kindly help me I am struggling to get My SQL and do not get aany where.- Arvind Engineer (arvind.engineer@gmail.com)

I have already installed fedora 13, How do I now update to download and install MySQL for fedora 13, any CAD Application, any Data Acquisition Software (like LabView) to interface GPIB, USB or RS232 devices?

There is no specific "distribution copy". The download is the distribution copy. All other links are mirrors to the main Fedora site.

You can select your packages during installation by choosing to install a custom set up.

Personally I would wait until after the install has finished and you have rebooted, then upgrade the system immediately using either yum upgrade or the System > Administration > Software Update menu item.

Then when all is finished updating, use the System > Administration > Add / Remove Software menu item to install mysql and mysql-server. You can search in Add / Remove Software for mysql and select the items you want.
