Installing Fedora on 2nd hdd/ dual booting

Ok i am new to this whole linux thing and i have lots of spare time so i thought i would try linux out to see whats so good about it with high hopes of it being 10x better than windows. Anyways i have all the FC2 isos and in my computer i have 2 hdds and they both have XP on them. On my second hdd i want to completely wipe it of everything and then put my linux distro on there and be able to dual boot so i can choose between xp and linux whenever i want plz help. THanks

Assuming you are going to use Disk Druid, just go through with the onscreen instructions until it is ready to partition. It will ask you what HD(s) you want to use. You just select hdb only. Make sure you uncheck hda. Once past that, it asks you what you want to do in terms of the partitions currently on that disk. In your case, you'll want to delete all partitions, so just check that box.

From there, it should be all automatic. It paritions the drives and configures the boot loader. But be wary.. a friend of mine wanted to dual boot off two seperate HDs, and it misconfigured his bootloader. This is easily fixable, and was probably just specific to his system. Just be sure to make a bootable floppy.
