Install CD won't boot on PC with XP Home - Fedora Core 2

First I tried with my Fedora Core 2 CD 1. I put the CD in and restarted the computer. It just started normally, into Windows. So I burned Boot.iso to a CD and tried that. Now it just gets stuck at " Verifying DMI Pool Data." I have no idea what to do. The DVD drive the CD is in works and it can read -r and -rw. In my BIOS I set it to boot CDROM,A,C, so that should boot the DVD then floppy then Hard Drive. I'm out of ideas. I even put the DVD drive in from another computer, it's in the same IDE as my hard drive, both IDE 1.

Look at the CD in windows. Is it just one file i.e boot.iso or several files and directories? If that was the case then you didn't burn the CD correctly. What application are you using to burn the CD? If you are drag and droping the file, it isn't going to work.

Well, now you have a great excuse to get Slackware!

It's a bunch of files. The same exact folder is in the first FC CD. I looked into it and found out that that's the one that I should be booting with. Even though I already tried that. I used FireBurner to burn all of my FC CD's. Now it just boots right into Windows.

you perhaps did not burn the Iso's right. I used Nero and use Burn Image option, not ISO9660. To verify, after burning check the CD, it should not have just one .iso file but instead a list of directories and files.
