ibm aptiva 2161-c3d will not read cd during installation

I have an old ibm aptiva that i want to put red hat fedora on. I downloaded the 4 isos and burnt them, but I could not get them to boot on start up even tho I changed the bios to load floppy then cd then hard drive. I then created a floppy and did get this to boot but still cannot get the cds to load. Fedora asks for a driver disk but I cannot find or know how to build one. the computer desc is p233 mmx(256kb) 32mb 4.2gb HDD ati dvd 56k win95. I have w2k on the machine now and have added a second 4.2gb hdd. could any one give me a clue?
