HP DC7900 error (ACPI: invalid PBLK length (7))
 

HI,

I have installed Windows XP and Fedora in a basic dual boot on some new HP DC7900 computers for a networking class room. I created a ghosting image on one PC and then used the image to ghost the other PC's in the room. The image was working fine but after ghosting the entire class room, none of them will boot to Fedora. I get error: ACPI invalid PBLK length (7)

Any help or sugestions appreciated since this is a class room where instructors will be wanting access to both Windows and Fedora.

have you tried using grub to start your pc? after starting up, you may be able to correct the booting problem by modifiying your boot.ini in xp bootloader or menu.lst in fedora bootloader.
on the other hand i am interested in your situation. since i also use hp dc7900 pc and have xp and fedora 11 installed yesterday. the prblem is that i got that ACPI: INVALID PBLK LENGTH 7 error. fedora will boot though after a few seconds. do you have such problem?
