You must configure your bios to boot from the cd. To do this, on the first boot screen press F2 key or delete key (this may vary) when you enter the bios look for an item called boot device priority or boot options, and set cdrom as 1st boot device. Then insert the 1st fedora cd. save changes and exit.

You have to go into bios/setup for your motherboard and change your boot up options to the CD-ROM. Usually it is the delete key that gets you into your bios/setup screen.

Also some bios give the option of pressing an Fn key to choose which drive you want to boot up first.

For instance my compaq has this option, if I press the F9 key at the post screen I can choose to boot from

cd-rom
hard drive
floppy

hope this helps
