Question getting an error in kernel source installation on fedora 4

Hey Guys

I just got installed Fedora 4, and in order to get running a program I need to install the kernel source
my actual kernel is 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 and I don't have any kernel source installed yet , so I went to a mirror and I got myself a copy of kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.src.rpm, the problem is that when I try to install it using the command #rpm -i kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.src.rpm i get the message kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.src.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 4f2a6fd2, I got another 3 copies of the same file from other mirrors thinking that could be a bogus copy but I keep getting thte same message with thiese others too.

Am I doing something wrong here?
any help to this newbie in linux will be welcome

If you need to run a program that requires the kernel source, you need to install the "kernel-devel package" e.g. as root do
Code:
#yum install kernel-devel
You are trying to install a source rpm, which may not necessarily solve your problems because its a package thats meant for rebuilding the Fedora kernel. You are getting the NOKEY error because either you do not have the gpg key that was used to sign the package installed on your system or the package was not signed with a gpg key (very unlikely).

There is something odd about how FC4 updating is set up with respect to the NOKEY problem. If you run:

yum update

one time, it will automatically download the appropriate key and you shouldn't be bothered by the NOKEY problem again.

Need Fedora Core 4 kernel Source location

I'm trying to install the emu10k1 sound driver for Fedora Core 4 and it needs the location of the kernel source in the 'config' file so I can compile with 'make'. Can somebody tell me where the kernel-devel installs the files so I can edit the 'config' file?

Thanks,
