Hi all, this is my first post and I'm pretty new to Linux as well.
One of our old servers was retired at work and I was able to take it home. I had the idea of running Linux on it so I can learn something new... seen enough Windows machines to last a lifetime
I have been using the Fedora7 live CD and I'm attempting to install it onto HD using the "Install to Hard Disk" option on the desktop. Install goes fine with no errors, but when trying to boot from the HD it does a kernel panic and halts. (Pic here:

I'm using this hardware:
Compaq Proliant ML370 (G1)
2 x Pentium III @ 1Ghz/256K/133FSB
512MB RAM
Compaq Smart Array SCSI card
18GB SCSI drive - Configured to RAID0
48x IDE CDROM
SoundBlaster Live!
GeForce2MX 32MB PCI
Onboard NIC
The installer installs to "/ida/c0d0 Compaq Smart Array". GRUB is on the MBR and all other drive settings I left at default.
I might be missing something obvious, but I'm new to all this. If you need me to mount or get logs from anywhere please explain how.
Can you help?
